Car Crash Turns Into Violence At Yeovil's Bell Pub As Emergency Worker Attacked

Man Charged with Assaulting Emergency Worker Following Pub Car Park Crash

A 19-year-old man is set to appear in court next month after being charged with assaulting an emergency worker in the aftermath of a crash in Yeovil. The incident took place at The Bell pub, located off Preston Road, when a van and a BMW collided around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25.

Witnesses reported that emergency services promptly arrived at the scene following the crash. Subsequently, the young man was arrested and later charged with the assault.

He has been released on unconditional bail and is scheduled to appear at Yeovil Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, July 16.

The male in question is 19 years old. Although the incident took place where many had gathered to watch the football, it's understood not to be a football related incident.
