Convicted Child Beater Stewart Walley Accused of Stalking and Harassing Ex-Partner
Stewart Walley, recently convicted of assaulting a ten-year-old child in Yeovil, has now been accused of stalking and harassing the child’s mother following the end of their relationship. According to friends of the family, Walley’s disturbing behaviour escalated in the months leading up to the violent assault on the child.
Walley, who pleaded guilty to child beating at Yeovil Magistrates Court, is now alleged to have persistently harassed and stalked his former partner after their breakup. A close friend of the family, who spoke exclusively to Yeovil Real News, claimed that Walley made repeated threats and terrorised the mother in the time leading up to the assault on her child.
"I feel I need to speak out and warn other women about his actions," said the friend, who chose to remain anonymous out of fear of retribution from Walley. "The child’s mother lives in constant fear of him. He has threatened to kill people, and I know exactly what she has been through."
He then added: " Before the day of the beating, Walley couldn't accept that the child's mother had finished the relationship due to his manipulative behaviours, he was very possessive of her, whilst treating her appallingly. He would harass her daily with constant messages and threats, he couldn't accept the relationship was over. "
Walley, who works for Elite Scaffolding in Yeovil then on the day of the attack, according to the friend of the victims, was watching the house on the day of the attack, from the rear, before he entered the garden prior to creeping in the back door and running up the stairs to the bedrooms. When the mother of the child realised who it was, the friend has claimed that the mother called 999 and at that point it's alleged by the friend, the frightened mother, had her phone snatched from her to end the call.
He said: " Walley, was stalking the house, he had told others about it and on the day he beat the child he went into the garden and walked in through the open back door, ran up the stairs and my friend called the police, he came running down the stairs and grabbed the phone, to end the call but thankfully the police traced the call and responded, by that time he had beat the child, in which he tried to claim it was a scuffle, although video evidence shows Walley bending the child's arm behind his back, to breaking point before the police arrived as kids screamed in the street."
Now, the man, who knows the offender and convicted child beater and was friends with both involved say's he wants nothing more to Walley and that other women need to be warned of his behaviour where women are involved.
He said: " He's a very jealous person and well as a liar, all the signs of a narcissist who manipulates women, this is not the first example, it's happened often, all women thinking of getting involved with him, need to think twice for their own safety.
" Whilst he's been convicted, there is a lot of people who want him convicted for more of his antics, I tell you what, you wouldn't want him anywhere near your home or family.' He finished.
The allegations have painted an even darker picture of Walley, who has already drawn outrage from the local community following his conviction. Residents of Yeovil were shocked by the leniency of the court’s ruling, which imposed a 12-month community order and 80 hours of unpaid work. After images of the child’s injuries were shared on social media, public outrage surged, with many calling for harsher punishment.
As new details emerge about Walley’s alleged stalking and harassment, questions are being raised in Yeovil. The child’s mother has not yet commented publicly on the additional allegations, but sources close to her have expressed concern for her ongoing safety.
The case has sparked renewed debate in Yeovil about the adequacy of protections for victims of domestic abuse and the need for stronger action against offenders. Meanwhile, residents are now calling on the police to investigate the new claims of stalking and harassment, and ensure that Walley is held accountable for his actions.
The community remains on edge, as the allegations of violence, manipulation, and intimidation have cast a shadow over an already troubling case.
