**Yeovil, May 28, 2024** – A distressing incident has left the Yeovil community outraged after a local resident discovered a dead kitten abandoned in a household bin. The tabby kitten, which appeared to have been attacked by a dog, was found without any signs of care or affection, sparking anger and disbelief among animal lovers.
The resident, Kirsty Rowe, shared their disgust and heartbreak upon finding the kitten. "I am absolutely disgusted with the appalling treatment of this poor kitten," they stated. "Some absolute a$$hole had placed this poor little tabby kitten in our bin who had clearly been attacked by a dog. Where the hell is the humanity for this poor little dear thing? Treated like rubbish, no care or affection given to it!"
The individual expressed concern that the kitten might belong to someone who could be frantically searching for their lost pet. "Someone could be missing this poor little love, and you didn't even have the decency to wrap the poor little love up or bury it! Shame on you. You know who you are. I really hope you suffer when your time comes!"
Local animal welfare organizations have been notified of the incident, and an investigation is underway to identify the person responsible for this act of cruelty. The RSPCA has urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward to help ensure that justice is served for the kitten.
This heart-wrenching discovery has prompted renewed calls for increased awareness and education regarding animal welfare. The community is being urged to look out for signs of animal cruelty and to report any suspicious activity to authorities.
"We are appalled by this incident and are committed to finding the person responsible," said an RSPCA spokesperson. "Every animal deserves to be treated with compassion and respect. We encourage anyone with information to come forward."
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of treating all animals with kindness and dignity. The Yeovil community remains hopeful that the individual responsible will be held accountable and that such an incident will never occur again.
