Gloverscast Podcasters Urge Yeovil Town FC Chairman to Refrain from Social Media Attacks

In a recent episode of the Gloverscast podcast, dedicated to all things Yeovil Town FC, the hosts have called on current chairman Martin Hellier to refrain from attacking supporters on social media. The episode, which aired Sunday evening, highlighted the ongoing concerns about Hellier's interactions with fans, urging for a more professional approach.

The podcasters praised the former chairman John Fry for maintaining a high level of professionalism during his tenure, contrasting it with the current atmosphere under Hellier's leadership.

While the podcast acknowledged the issues caused by Hellier’s conduct, it notably avoided delving deeply into the specific controversies surrounding his actions. Instead, the focus remained on encouraging a positive change in his social media behaviour, with a preference that he stayed off social media.

The Gloverscast team expressed hope that their appeal would resonate with Hellier, fostering a more harmonious relationship between the club’s management and its supporters although they failed to comment totally on the fact Hellier stated the club was for sale for a £1.

However fans felt the show was poor and weak:

Brad said: ' If Scott Preistnall had posted on Facebook he would sell the club for a quid there would be an emergency broadcast on it. Just be honest and tell everybody you are terrified of Hellier and save everybody having to listen to 15 minutes of you swerving the problems'

Johnathan Hooper, another fan, pointed out: ' This isn't the first threat of Hellier selling the club, Boy cries wolf,'

Other fans wrote directly to Yeovil Real News, one saying: Gloverscast are weak and scared to get to the root of the issues, they are probably all at the doctors this morning have splinters pulled from their ass!

Meanwhile supporters have discovered old Tweets from Hellier where he described ' Business is a war' where fans feel it demonstrates his unstability.
