MARTIN HELLIER ANNOUNCES ON SOCIAL MEDIA HE'S SELLING YEOVIL TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB
Controversial Yeovil Town Football Club owner, Martin Hellier, has announced this evening he is selling the football club at the end of the season.
Hellier, who has been steeped in controversy since he purchased the club at the beginning of last season, did not cite a reason why, although clear indications are that the finances of funding the club are not within his remit, especially as the club needs to find in excess of 3 million GBP to purchase back the stadium and land from the local council before London based property developers step in to deal with the council.
A lack of signings at the start of this season, as the club prepares for National League Premier football have been apparent to supporters that funding the club was becoming an impossible task for Hellier.
Off the pitch, Hellier's performance has seen him in many controversial situations.
The club have yet to make an official announcement.
