Local Paedophile Captured by UKDatabase and Handed Over to Dorset Police

In a significant operation tonight, UKDatabase, a vigilante group known for exposing child abusers, successfully apprehended Simon Silvester, a local resident, and handed him over to Dorset Police. Silvester is the latest individual to be caught by the group in the Somerset and Dorset area, which has unfortunately gained a reputation for being a hotspot for such offenders.

The sting operation was conducted by members of UKDatabase, who confronted Silvester on camera. During the confrontation, Silvester admitted to committing offences against a 14-year-old girl. The footage, which has been shared widely online, shows Silvester acknowledging his actions before being taken into custody by the authorities.

The Somerset and Dorset region has seen a troubling number of child abuse cases in recent years, with concerns that some offenders have been protected by others within the community. However, the proactive efforts of groups like UKDatabase are shedding light on these dark corners and helping to bring perpetrators to justice.

Dorset Police have confirmed that Silvester is now in their custody and that an investigation is underway. The police have also issued a statement urging the public to report any suspicions of child abuse directly to them, rather than taking matters into their own hands, to ensure that justice is served in a lawful and safe manner.

Dorset police have a high conviction rate for sex offenders although it's known Somerset police often refuse to take a paedophile to court in Yeovil if they feel it's not in the public interest, recently a reported historic child molester wasn't even interviewed by the Yeovil police force on that basis.

As the investigation continues, the community is urged to remain vigilant and support efforts to protect children from harm.
