Man Walks Out of Martock Co-op with £500 Worth of Unpaid Meat
A brazen theft occurred at the Martock Co-op, where a man reportedly walked out with an estimated £500 worth of unpaid meat. The incident, which took place in broad daylight, has left the local community shocked.
Local resident Andy Pitman witnessed the theft and shared his account: "I've just watched a non-Englishman clear the shelves of meat. It had to be £500 worth; it was a full bag."
The suspect allegedly loaded up a large bag with various cuts of meat before leaving the store without paying. The audacity of the act, coupled with the sheer volume of goods taken, has sparked concern among residents about the rising trend of shoplifting in the area
Local authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as they investigate the incident. The Co-op is working with police to review CCTV footage in hopes of identifying the suspect.
Martock Co-op has not yet issued an official statement, but the store's staff and management are reportedly cooperating fully with the investigation.

Co-op prices £500 translates to a joint of ham and three packs of sausages. It’s so expensive
Why the need to say he was non Englishman? So what? Did you check his passport?
“Non Englishman” So did they check their passport before leaving the store? Was he Welsh, Scottish or Irish? Stupid journalism that is blatantly trying to push a hidden agenda of Xenophobia which is becoming more rife in this sad state of a country.
