One resident recently told Yeovil Real News: ' It's not the actual officers who are at fault, it's the lack of them, for example even if you get burgled, you will be lucky to see a police officer for weeks if at all.  Pedophiles walk the streets freely as the police say it's not in the public interest to prosecute them, if they decide they regard them not currently high risk, despite their previous crimes on children. There are very little police patrols either, you rarely see an officer on the beat, whilst drug users inject heroin in the town centre church yard! '
