Yeovil Police Appeal Continues Over Town Hit And Run

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for information after an early morning hit-and-run incident on Newton Road, Yeovil (Friday, December 13).

At approximately 6:40 am, a man was struck by what is believed to be a Toyota. The driver initially stopped but then fled the scene without providing assistance. The injured pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment, and his condition remains undisclosed.


Police Call for Driver and Witnesses to Come Forward

In a statement, Avon and Somerset Police said:
“We’re appealing to the driver of this vehicle to come forward, and we’d also like to speak to anyone who may have dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage that could assist in our investigation.”
