Stores On Alert As Prolific Shoplifters Strike 

Shops and stores in Yeovil are on high alert after three notorious shoplifters allegedly stole items from Marnhull Stores near Sturminster Newton in Dorset.

The trio, accused of taking numerous items, were caught on CCTV by the store owners, who then shared the images on social media to alert other shopkeepers.

Hawtree & Sons Spar in Marnhull posted: "Does anyone recognize these thieves? They just emptied the shop of alcohol, meat, and essentially a week's worth of groceries without paying 🙄 BMW 5 Series XP05 SSS."

Readers contacted Yeovil Real News, reporting that they frequently see the BMW driving around Yeovil and that the individuals in the photographs are known to reside in the area.

A local shopkeeper, who has previously banned the gang, told Yeovil Real News that he believes they are targeting villages around Yeovil to avoid recognition.

"Village stores around Yeovil need to be vigilant - these thieves are well-known in the Yeovil area and are clearly seeking opportunities in places where they are less familiar," he warned.
