Yeovil Town Fans Express Views As They Lose First Game Of The Season Returning To The National League Premier.
Yeovil Town Football Club started their new campaign in the National League Premier, although things didn't go to plan as the Glovers lost by a single away goal.
Although despite the disappointment of losing their first home game, fans have had time to reflect on the game and appear to still be optimistic for the rest of the season.
Hartlepool Utd were managed by former Yeovil Town manager Darren Sarll as they sneaked a single goal to take away all three points from Huish Park, whilst the Town came near to equalising in the 97th minute.
Painful miss in the 97th minute.
Hopefully Greenslade is able to let that go and get firing against Braintree, he caused some issues for ‘Pools when he came on as a sub.
So much energy and pace, just lacked the composure at the pivotal moment.

The young fan's analysis highlighted that Yeovil dominated possession and completed significantly more accurate passes, with both teams managing only two shots on target each.
Examining the foul statistics, with Hartlepool committing 15 fouls and receiving 4 yellow cards, it becomes clear how Darren Sarll set up his team—physical, as many Yeovil fans would recognise.
"It was a typical Darren Sarll performance. His style of play hasn't changed since he was here. It’s not attractive to watch, but it’s effective. There wasn’t much between the teams, and I think a draw would have been a fair result, with both sides sharing the points," said Paul Winterburn, who travelled from Birmingham to attend the match.
Whilst Kevin Lacey, said: ' It was a good start but I expected this, we don't very often win our first games but I think it bodes well for the season, the lads, many not having played in this leauge before, now also know the level required, I was a bit disappointed with Nouble drifting wide all the time, but apart from that it was a very good effort by the lads, no doubt Coops will work on things he's seen from the game.'
Yeovil Town now head to Braintree on Saturday where three points are possible, to tally some points with Braintree suffering a large defeat on the weekend leaking 3 goals at Oldham.
