Yeovil Town secured their second victory of the National League season with a thrilling 3-2 win over Ebbsfleet United, thanks to a late strike from substitute Harvey Greenslade.
The match at Huish Park saw Yeovil take control early on, with Brett McGavin opening the scoring and Michael Smith doubling the lead, putting Mark Cooper’s side in a commanding 2-0 position by halftime. The Glovers appeared to be on course for a comfortable win, dominating much of the first half.
However, the game took a dramatic turn in the second half as Ebbsfleet fought back. In the space of just three minutes, Lewis Page fired home to reduce the deficit, and striker Dominic Samuel quickly followed up with an equalizer, bringing the visitors level and leaving Yeovil's earlier advantage in tatters.
As the clock ticked down, Yeovil pushed for a winner. Frank Nouble had two efforts saved by Ebbsfleet goalkeeper Mark Cousins, but the breakthrough finally came in the 81st minute. Greenslade, who had come off the bench, made the most of his opportunity, drilling the ball into the net to restore Yeovil's lead and secure a hard-fought three points

The victory sees Yeovil move up the National League table, as they look to build momentum in their campaign. For Ebbsfleet, the comeback was ultimately in vain, as they left Somerset empty-handed despite a spirited second-half performance.
' It was a second half blip, but the team has a great fighting spirit, which was demonstrated tonight ' said Paul Cooke, leaving the ground, although he thought both managers got their tactics wrong, although it produced a thrilling game of non league football, as he he finished with: ' Cooper, I think changed too much at half time, which caused the blip, I know he said Sims would only play 45 mins but it unbalanced us, whilst the Ebbs manager, should have started the game with his second half side but it was a great night of entertaining football.'
Yeovil now face a tough test at Gateshead on Saturday although the nights winning spirit hopefully will go with the Town, with Sims, likely to play a full 90 mins, whilst looking as being a great new signing.
